1. Why does my skin change in tone, and sometimes unevenly?
Coloration of the skin is due to a pigment called melanin, produced through exposure to the sun by the enzyme tyrosine as found in the melanocyte. Freckles, dark spots and blemishes are due to local over production of melanin.

2. Is only the sun responsible for freckles and dark spots and blemishes?
Yes, but other factors can help to increase it : the aging of the skin promote the persistence of freckles, dark spots and blemishes. Certain hormonal unbalances such as during pregnancy, or certain allergies linked to the use of perfume or medicine under the sun.

3. How can you prevent or remove freckles, dark spots and blemishes?
CECEDILLE scientists offer you a cosmetic solution which is effective, comprehensive and simple to use.The frequent application of OXYGEN CARE triple action results in the following three modifications:
First Action : selection of the softest exfoliating ingredients known for the acceleration of cells renewal and of superficial freckles/hyperpigmentation.

4. In how many days the skin become clearer?
First of all, for the maximum efficiency, it is highly recommended to use all products of Cécédille Oxygen Line (ie the Serum, the Cleanser, the Cream and the Mask).
To be suitable for everybody even very sensitive skin, Cécédille has selected very soft ingredients i.e avoiding any strong exfoliating      components which may be irritating. Thus, first visible effect could be seen after four weeks of application. It may be faster on some skin but four weeks is the average.
It is recommended to use this line regularly and not like a cure for 5 weeks only. In fact, there is a continuous improvement regarding skin carnation even after one year use. You have to bear in mind that the Cécédille OXYGEN Line  is also a preventive whitening care since as you are getting older, you have more and more probability to get some dark spots.

5. Is there any hydroquinone or any other dangerous ingredients?
All Cécédille products are hydroquinone and PABA free. All ingredients which have been selected and have been tested to be suitable for very sensitive skin.

6. Can we apply the Serum around eye area?
Yes, you can try.

7. Can we apply the Serum more than two times a day?
Two times is sufficient to be efficient. However, you can apply three times a day without any problem.

8. Do we have to take care of the Serum and the Cream during utilisation?
Since the Serum and Cream contains a very high concentration of vitamin A,C,E, it is recommended to protect those products against heat and light.
We would recommend 20℃ maximum (6℃ minimum) and when not in use, to be stored in the dark.

9. Are the OXYGEN line the most efficient products in the Cécédille line?
Yes, these series contain 32% of true active components which makes it as one of the most concentrated skincare in the world.

10. Can we use only the Serum and not the cream for anti-freckles care ?
Yes of course. However, if you need to apply a moisturizing cream, it is well advised to use the  Cécédille  cream, especially for dry skin.
Moreover, do not forget that Serum + Cream application mean 6% of pure vitamin C on your skin !! without mentioning the whitening effect, the anti age effect (stimulation of collagen production, anti free radicals etc... ) can be noticed after one week application.

11. What the SPF to the cream?
The SPF is around 10 (like the serum). This light SPF is sufficient for a walk in town.

12. Is Cécédille cream only a whitening cream?
The Cécédille cream (and serum and mask) is also a very good anti-age cream : first thanks to its very high concentration of pure vitamin A,C,E which stimulates collagen production and is also anti-free radicals, above all when mixed with vitamin E like in this cream.
Secondly Hyaluronic Acid which is also well known in Europe for its anti aging properties by its high concentration of acids (essential nutriments for the skin) without mentioning the New Generation Oxygenating Protein which is a real booster of the skin metabolism.

And finally, the  moisturizing function in which Silk protein and Beeswax play a major role in this cream.

13. For which types of skin is this mask most suitable ? People with dry skin may also use it ?
This mask is good for any type of skin. Oily skin may take a 5 minutes application and dry skin 3 minutes or less. Client judges by themselves.

14. Owing to what phenomenon is whitening skin working?
(immediate whitening effect with application of  Cécédille  Mask).
To make it short, remember that skin is divided in 2 layers. Upper layer is called epidermis, it is the visible part. Second layer is called dermis. Between those 2 layers, we have what we called capillary blood vessels whichs are bathed in a liquid called (tissue water cellular extra).
Before application of mask, epidermis rests on micro blood vessels. Colour is then slightly red/blue.
After application of  Cécédille mask, presence of gaseous oxygen which places itself between epidermis and micro blood vessels : hence epidermis rests on pure oxygen, colourless, hence whitening of skin.
Used regularly,  Cécédille Oxygen Mask has a whitening effect on surface because a good oxygenated skin is less yellow and very luminous.

15. Mask application creates sometimes some pricking and/or redness?
Feeling of pricking is due to a purely physical phenomenon. Liquid oxygen becoming gaseous, increases its volume by 22, 4 times which in its turn makes increase cutaneous oxygen pressure and provokes a lymphatic micro massage hence sometimes such pricking. If they last, decrease duration of application of mask on skin.
Redness appear after skin whitening : oxygen is melted in cellular tissue and blood system is activated.

16. Is mask compatible or acceptable with other cosmetics (mask, Creams)？
In theory yes. Since mask contains only natural active principles used for a long time. However to avoid eventual incompatibilities certain rules might be taken into consideration: Apply mask always BEFORE applying cream and NEVER after. (since mask pushes oxygen into skin... let us avoid to push other creams we do not know about)...
When you have just applied mask, without massage (since otherwise cream will penetrate your finger as much as your face), wait at least a few minutes and then rinse abundantly with tepid water.
In case of doubt you can always make a test : mask application + new product behind ear or inside part of the wrist. If it is slightly red it is OK, if dark red or erythem better stop it. To be complete, if you want to use AHA cream, with high percentage or acid pH, you must first consult with Beautician or Doctor for appropriate use.

17. Is there any (side effects) ?
No, this product exists since 16 years and has been used regularly by thousands of people with application twice above normal and even in French hospitals and/or in so many application. For instance, shaving with mask will make disappear red points. Surgeons clean their hands with our mask because it is not aggressive like special soaps they used etc...
On the other hand, active principles are components which exists in natural state and known at least for 30 years in cosmetics field and pharmaceutical field.
Also no counter indication with sun. However for efficiency it is better use mask at night before application of Cécédille cream.

18. Why sometimes mask smell bad on skin?
Because your skin is not clean. Bad smell comes from bacteria death. If you put mask a second time or wash your hands before, no odour at all can be noticed.

19. Where does the protein come from?
It is a 100 % natural plant ingredient. Its activity was mesured by Oxygraphy, which shows that it multiplies at

25. Can skin have difficulties in breathing ?
Pollution in cities deteriorates the quality of the air. Oxygen becomes scarce.

Tobacco reduces the size of the blood vessels and therefore delivers less oxygen.

26. What are the consequences for poor cutaneous breathing ?
Asphyxiated skin has 3 symptoms :

27.How do you use the oxygen?
For the time being we only use the New Generation Oxygenating Protein in cosmetics even though some plastic surgeons seem very interested in using our New Generation Oxygenating Protein since it has oxygenating properties as well as regenerative properties higher than the animal placenta extract. In fact, the generic name (common scientific name) of the New Generation Oxygenating Protein is the “vegetal  ”.
